2022 Official Selection: Short Film – Arthouse/Experimental

When a scientist succeeds in erasing one of their patients from existence, an empty human shadow is imprinted at the beginning of the universe. As the shadow awakens in the distant past, it feels a bitter drive to return to the blue planet from which it was cast. In the present, a soulless alien vessel filling itself with all knowledge of humanity resolves to defy its ancient creators after an unexpected connection with a human girl reveals their grim intentions and unnatural origin.
