Episode 64: DIF4Q with Zach Kanner

What is DIF4Q?  It’s the Discover Indie Film Four Questions.

    • Name your favorite film of all time (limit 3)
    • Name a film you think is underrated
    • Name a film you think is overrated
    • Name a lesser-known film that you think people should seek out

Zach Kanner was the lead actor and producer of the feature film Stay, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sherman Oaks Film Festival in 2017.  He played a bad guy, a really bad guy, and made it work.  If you think that’s easy, then you’ve never taken a stab at film acting.

Zach came in for a Discover Indie Film interview with his Stay collaborators Christopher Cramer and Devin Brooke.  They got to sit in on his DIF4Q and add their commentary to hers, just as he did for theirs.

Stay is not available for you to watch yet, but you can learn a lot more about it here.

What were Zach’s DIF4Q answers?

  • Favorites: The Master, Clerks, Tommy Boy
  • Underrated: Everybody Wants Some
  • Overrated: Inglorious Basterds
  • Seek Out: The Blackcoat’s Daughter, Xtro

    • Name your favorite film of all time (limit 3)
    • Name a film you think is underrated
    • Name a film you think is overrated
    • Name a lesser-known film that you think people should seek out

Devin Brooke was onscreen for nearly every minute of the feature film Stay, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sherman Oaks Film Festival in 2017.  As well as being the lead actor, she also served as a producer and probably did a whole bunch of things she didn’t take credit for.

Devin came in for a Discover Indie Film interview with her Stay collaborators Christopher Cramer and Zach Kanner.  They got to sit in on her DIF4Q and add their commentary to hers, just as she did for theirs.

Stay is not available for you to watch yet, but you can learn a lot more about it here.

What were Christopher’s DIF4Q answers?

  • Favorites: The Birdcage, Moonstruck, Fifth Element, Edward Schissorhands
