This one is a departure episode for Discover Indie Film, but everyone should check out Blake Laitner because he is the definition of an indie filmmaker. He wrote to me through Instagram because he is taking his underground indie film “We Need Rent Money” on tour of the cannabis dispensaries of the USA. When Blake reached out to see if I would help promote his
screening at The Higher Path, in Sherman Oaks, CA, his indie spirit inspired me to not care that his film did not come to me through Sherman Oaks Film Festival or Film Invasion Los Angeles. This person has been said no to hundreds and hundreds of
