Seth Coltan is a humble, reserved man who doesn’t realize what a powerhouse talent he is. His short obSETHed: Memorial Day is one of the rock-solid funniest short films you’re going to see. And as an actor he very humbly shares that he has made appearances on Broad City, Workaholics, and American Horror Story. Yet he is going to try to convince everyone he meets that he’s not going anywhere. Don’t believe him. Seth kicks ass.
Memorial Day was one of my favorites at Film Invasion Los Angeles in 2017, and after many emails I was able to drag Seth up to the house for an interview. I’m really glad that I got to know him better. Hanging out with him for an afternoon was a blast, and I look forward to seeing more of him.

The deadlines for the 2018 Sherman Oaks Film Festival are:
Early Deadline: June 1
Regular Deadline: July 1
Extended Deadline: August 1
Final Deadline: September 1
The entry fee goes up $5 after each deadline. Submit your films, music videos and screenplays before thosee deadlines pass. The festival will be held November 7, 8, & 9.

Last year, Grand Jury Prize winner for feature film was Stay, a great movie that programmer Jeff Howard said reminded him of Soderbergh’s early work.
