Sarah Beth Goer & Kip Calendine collaborated on the feature film “Three Roads,” an indie feature near and dear to me.  It represents the kind of grass roots, from the heart filmmaking that keeps me excited about indie film.  Sarah wrote, produced and starred in the film while Kip wrote, produced and directed.  You can watch “Three Roads” right now on the Three Roads Vimeo page for free!

I highly recommend that you watch this film before you listen to the interview, but I won’t be too mad if you watch it after.

Eric DePriester wrote, directed and produced the feature film “Treason,” which was based on a play he wrote and staged at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.  Eric Brough the film adaptation to the Sherman Oaks Film Festival in 2021 for what turned out to be, after a year and half of virtual pandemic screenings, his film’s theatrical premiere!  And I’m happy to say that Eric took home the Grand Jury Award for Best Screenplay.

Diliana Deltcheva brought her short film “Sweetheart” to the Sherman Oaks Film Festival in 2019 and her lead actor Gina Vitori took home the award for “Outstanding Lead Acting, Individual.”  I don’t have to tell you that an actor doesn’t take home an award if the writer/director didn’t do a great job.  “Sweetheart” is a thought provoking film and, personally, I could talk about the nuances it deals with for hours.  You can watch this great film on the Discover Indie Film TV Series on Amazon Prime Video!  Just go to season 3, episode 5.
