198. 4Qs with Jon Gower

Jon Gower & Jeff Howard at SOFF 2019

What are the 4Q’s?

  • Name your favorite films of all time (limit 3)
  • Name a film you think is underrated
  • Name a film you think is overrated
  • Name a lesser-known film that you think people should seek out

Jon Gower flew from Nashville to Los Angeles to bring his hilarious film “Rallentando!” to the Sherman Oaks Film Festival in 2019.  The great news is that you can watch “Rallentando!” right now in Season 3 Episode 8 of the Discover Indie Film TV Series on Amazon Prime Video!

I had been meaning to interview Jon for years.  In fact, Jon got me onto an episode of hiss podcast Near Dark Radio long before I got him onto Discover Indie Film.  But it was worth the wait, as we get to hear this writer/director/musician/singer/composer tell us about his origins and inspirations.  You can see even more of Jon’s work on YouTube.
