390. 4Qs with Renetta Amador

What are the 4Qs?  (1) Three favorite films. (2) An underrated film. (3) An overrated film. (4) A lesser-known film people should seek out.

Renetta Amador’s directed and produce the surreal horror film “Processing,” that rocked the Sherman Oaks Film Festival in November 2021. It’s creative, original, and unforgettable.  Guess what?  You can watch “Processing” right now on the streaming service TVHi and it is in Season 7, Episode 4 of the Discover Indie Film TV Series on Amazon Prime Video.

As long as Renetta showed up at DIF HQ for an interview I just had to have her answer the 4Qs above.  Enjoy!  (And when I asked her for a pic because I forgot to take one of us when she was here, she sent over the Dodgers pic you see.  And I had a similar one – Kismet!)

389. Renetta Amador “Processing”

Renetta Amador’s film “Processing” played the Sherman Oaks Film Festival in November 2021 and this unforgettable, surreal horror film will be with me forever.  Guess what?  You can watch “Processing” right now on the streaming service TVHi and it is in Season 7, Episode 4 of the Discover Indie Film TV Series on Amazon Prime Video.

Renetta is a top professional in the film industry, with credits that include films such as Promising Young Woman, The Curse of La Llorona, A wrinkle in Time, The Babysitter, Selma, and over seventy more!  And she has done that remarkable move of working on Oscars winning films as a script supervisor while also writing, directing and producing her own work.  Renetta should be an inspiration to everyone.

I hope you enjoy this interview as much as Renetta and I did recording it.  She’s freaking awesome!
