{"id":559,"date":"2018-05-14T17:44:36","date_gmt":"2018-05-14T17:44:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jeffhoward.me\/?p=559"},"modified":"2018-05-14T17:44:36","modified_gmt":"2018-05-14T17:44:36","slug":"episode-61-stay-with-chris-devin-zach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jeffhoward.me\/?p=559","title":{"rendered":"Episode 61: \u201cStay\u201d with Chris, Devin &amp; Zach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Besides winning the Grand Jury Prize at the Sherman Oaks Film Festival in 2017, the feature film <em>Stay<\/em> is the indie movie that everyone thinks about making and either doesn&#8217;t or fails trying.\u00a0 A bunch of talented, dedicated friends pulled together the script, performers, and equipment that they needed to make a 90 minute film in a week in the home of one of the lead performers.\u00a0 And it&#8217;s REALLY GOOD.<\/p>\n<p>I was able to pull writer\/director Christopher James Cramer and lead actors Devin Brooke &amp; Zach Kanner in for an interview, and it was a lot of fun.\u00a0 They were a ton of fun to hang out with and stayed so long that when they left I felt guilty for not serving them a meal.\u00a0 I guess that&#8217;s my paternal side, wanting to feed the young filmmakers while they&#8217;re up at the house.<\/p>\n<p><em>Stay<\/em> is not available for you to watch yet, but you can learn <a href=\"https:\/\/www.honorarts.com\/stay-feature-film-2017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a lot more about it here<\/a>.\u00a0 You can even jump on their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiegogo.com\/projects\/stay-feature-film-distribution?secret_perk_token=e744f6dc#\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Indiegogo and help them self-distribute<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.honorarts.com\/stay-feature-film-2017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-482 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/discoverindiefilm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/stay_square-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Comments are blocked on this website.
