{"id":476,"date":"2017-12-09T00:41:34","date_gmt":"2017-12-09T00:41:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jeffhoward.me\/?p=476"},"modified":"2017-12-09T00:41:34","modified_gmt":"2017-12-09T00:41:34","slug":"episode-24-todd-wiseman-jr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jeffhoward.me\/?p=476","title":{"rendered":"Episode 24: Todd Wiseman Jr."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Todd Wiseman Jr. is a very busy guy.\u00a0 I first saw his film <em>Army of God<\/em> when the jury selected it to screen at Film Invasion L.A. in 2016.\u00a0 He couldn&#8217;t come out from NYC for the festival, so I didn&#8217;t really &#8220;meet&#8221; him until we got on the phone for this podcast interview.\u00a0 It turns out that in addition to being a very talented filmmaker, he&#8217;s a principal behind <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manwithacam.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Man With A Cam<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hayden5.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hayden 5 Media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As interesting as this other work is, I wanted to focus on <em>Army of God<\/em> because it is one of the few films I&#8217;ve seen on the festival circuit that combined extremely courageous storytelling with extremely professional filmmaking.<\/p>\n<p>And, let me say this in advance&#8230; regardless of your politics, this film represents a valid, intelligent perspective in a compelling way.\u00a0 That is what filmmaking is about!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Be sure to also listen to Todd&#8217;s DF4Q in the next Discover Film podcast.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comments are blocked on this website.
