{"id":402,"date":"2017-11-01T20:32:33","date_gmt":"2017-11-01T20:32:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jeffhoward.me\/?p=402"},"modified":"2017-12-03T20:36:29","modified_gmt":"2017-12-03T20:36:29","slug":"episode-22-preston-peterson-jason-boesch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jeffhoward.me\/?p=402","title":{"rendered":"Episode 22: Preston Peterson &amp; Jason Boesch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I met filmmaking team Preston Peterson &amp; Jason Boesch when their film\u00a0<em>West Virginia Stories<\/em> won a Grand Jury Prize at Film Invasion L.A. in 2016.\u00a0 Along with the other feature films that have been included in the Discover Film podcast,\u00a0<em>West Virginia Stories<\/em> is a movie that I consider much better than what is playing at the local multiplex.<\/p>\n<p>I was chatting with a festival board member about films, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.westvirginiastoriesmovie.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>West Virginia Stories<\/em><\/a>\u00a0came up.\u00a0 I wanted to know if it had gotten distribution yet, and it turns out that at this very moment it is being shopped at AFM.\u00a0 I figured this was as good a time as any to talk with Preston &amp; Jason.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s my hope that <em>West Virginia Stories<\/em> will be released soon.\u00a0 Until then, you can enjoy its trailer.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comments are blocked on this website.
