\"\"Schyler Martin and Michael Heubel collaborated to make the short film, “Lucky,” the short film I’ve hoped for years that someone would make. \u00a0Why was I longing for a film like”Lucky”? \u00a0It is a film where comedy meets arthouse, abstract expressionism meets narrative structure, and it’s just generally f***ing great. \u00a0Schyler & Michael brought “Lucky” to the Sherman Oaks Film Festival in 2021 and took home the Audience Award for Short Film \u2013 Arthouse\/Experimental.<\/p>\n
